Welcome to the PATS – Performance Artists Take the Streets course! This learning journey will introduce you to artistic interventions in public space and guide you step by step from understanding their social, cultural, democratic and environmental potential to developing your own intervention. Through the different modules, you will explore the history and principles of public-space art, learn how to create meaningful and inclusive artistic concepts, plan their practical implementation, engage communities responsibly, and reflect on impact. By the end of the course, you will bring everything together in your own AIPPS Project, transforming your ideas into a concrete, realistic and socially engaged artistic intervention.
